MONDAY, April 20, 2020 (HealthDay News) — Many of the folks who swarmed to beaches in Jacksonville, Fla., immediately after they have been reopened on Friday ignored social distancing warnings and didn’t wear encounter masks, triggering “Florida morons” to craze on Twitter across the United States.

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry reopened beaches and parks in the city immediately after obtaining permission from Governor Ron DeSantis, despite the condition reporting far more than 26,000 coronavirus situations, CBS New noted.

Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach are now open up from six-eleven a.m. and five-8 p.m. for “important functions” that abide by coronavirus basic safety steps.

In accordance to Curry, all those important functions consist of walking, biking, hiking, fishing, working, swimming, getting care of animals and browsing. Things to do such as sunbathing, grilling, and gathering in massive teams are prohibited, CBS News noted.
