July 28, 2020 — President Donald Trump’s nationwide protection adviser, Robert O’Brien, has tested positive for the coronavirus, the White Household said Monday in a assertion.
O’Brien “has delicate signs or symptoms and has been self-isolating and working from a secure site off-internet site. There is no threat of exposure to the president or the vice president. The work of the Nationwide Security Council proceeds uninterrupted,” the assertion said, according to NPR.
O’Brien is the highest-ranking member of the Trump administration recognised to have caught the virus that is sweeping the United States.
